I stand behind your mind
with my arms around your caution
holding your breath for you
lest a whisper escape
and the man of me
finds the woman of you

we both watch eyes
when talking to strangers
and realize we both are
so we close our eyes
so the other can't look down
the low cut of our vulnarable

but we lift our skins
and expose the souls under
we hear our mouths say damn
and watch our hands say please
before they touch sinful
with fingertips hurrying

to be caught holding hands
