The May Poem

it really doesn’t matter…

the warming time,

until May becomes a rose
February, March, April will spring
through the snow
but when May comes
so does the Rose.

She emulates me
in quick spring time
fresh
lovely
full
quickened
bloom’d
then

I would do her well to take her in
allow her, fully watered,
to spring back a bit
but

as in all life, she is gone now, past her prime
until the cooler days of
September.

She just might return.

Remember?  Those days that will bring spring
back to visit with a last glorious…
but only if the rains are right, and
just before

the December moon.

You loved June…the time of dolphins.
Thank you for looking over me now.

This is not only truly beautiful, it is also
extremely touching...unforgetable...

Well done dear friend... perhaps the rose
will return again and again.

Don't bring me down now,
let me stay here for awhile
You know life's too short,
let me bathe here in your smile.

there is no step-by-step receipe for falling into and out of...and yet so humbly and fitting, you create a unique language of love, certainty that in the rose are interesting details that one can understand, the Rose my dear is so trustworthy and dependable, and she will return, year, after year after year, she did so, before out time and will do so, after our time, as evidence of our poetry and hers...

astounding write

Love to you

To say 'I like it' is sooooo insufficient ... it sings a song that my heart knows so well~

Such delicate beauty as the rose requires such perfect conditions.  If only we, the human race, would all allow these perfect conditions for all of our fellow humans, I am sure far more humans would bloom into such beauty within and without, as our Sunshine.  Enjoyed every syllable/image/thought/memory of this.
