something beckons
liquid *diamonds
seep through the places i crack

soaking my soul
washed clean
newborn tears f

                 l like salty rain

as they hit the dirt
i lie still
mind wandering

the escape exists
in a hidden box
of memories long forgotten

the queen's lace curtains
billow out
(to somewhere)

i wrap myself in satin dreams
i can not recall
what brought me .here.

this urge to melt
into the earth

like the leaves that blow across my body

in my mind's eye
i see myself clearly
for the very first time

This seeped through the cracks you made in my poetry-thirsty soul and surged to every pore of my skin and quivered and burst through them and flowed back into the ether from which it came.  Loved the visual poetry splashes too.  Excellent!  Please post lots.

The cyclic affirmation of seasons and dreams
Pour and fill creations schemes
Of Autumn, where the air is clear

To hold myself in yearned endear...

Loved the feeling of the leaves.

I'm a fool for ecphrastic poetry.....dunno what there is about it, but if the words look like what they're talking about, I'm in hawg heaven!
