turning back the pages of a new day book I watch your eyes looking for the special one your fingers, nervous pedestrians crossing the line pretending those feelings aren't really busses with cafe mouthed strangers that have gone without meals pressed in between the leather of snug fitting seats just waiting for permission to ooze onto your sidewalk skin with the profanity of their innocence like explorers retaking the lands of a vague songed premonition ___________ daark |
