Clouds surround you and I,
We create a world of our own.
I find myself immersed in unreality,
Which is where I find I belong
My reality, the true.

I find you, save you, release you from yourself,
I become the center of your focus,
At no cost to me,
I do not see what is behind me
For I refuse to turn around.
…No reason…

Seeing is not “always” believing…

I wash my hands of myself,
My past no longer is foremost,
You took it from me,
You hold it up high,
“My treasure,” you say.

…All mine…

I shine for all reasons
And for none.
I fall into your open arms,
I fly into the sun.

I am star struck,
I am struck dumb,
I am dumb founded,
I fear not and thus,
Do not run.

Nothing…

Which is nothing,
Which is true,
Which is us,
And which is you.

“petty words,” you say.
“It all means nothing.”
Oh how you know
What you do not.

The path to resilients,
It no longer exists, GONE!

…Never there…HA…

The path behind,
Left me behind, it’s true.

Oh…

I long for you,
Is that all?
Far away,
Yet so close inside,
Not the same…

Nothing ever is,
But oh how I love this,
The feeling of the abyss

…Mine…

I liked this a lot. I got the feeling of push and pull..and oh how life and love can do that all too often. Very nice.

Awesome write of emotion.

I love the flow of this poem and I particularly like these lines:

"I do not see what is behind me
For I refuse to turn around."

My goodness! What a superbly expressed piece of emoting! I once was in a relationship like that where I felt addicted to his poison! Whew! Thank goodness I didn't totally lose myself in that whirlwind of swirling waves of emotions with all those crests and the unpleasant troughs! I eventually swam to shore and stood up on my own two feet and "waved" good-bye to him!

Very good writing!!!
