Tired and worn
but looking ahead..
a week's worth of boring
and years to be shed.

I am missing the most of,
the offering of fun,
just because time is lapsing
and I'm on the run.

Doing "me-things" right now
for it's me in the need,
as I ready the old
to be rid of in deed.

Oh those yard sales can bleed you
are more work than a job,
but it's twenty to rid of
those years now to rob...

I am packing in bags
with a trick to the fill
vacuuming the air out
collapsing until...

The smallness of then,
those years now in past
are relieved of my holding,
someone else's at last.

Too hot, so I break now
to rest on my own,
then to attic I climb,
no more past to postpone.

M

Thanks Lee for reading, it's time to unload some baggage..lots of clothing but many collectables that don't have the same meaning to me anymore...

I wish you much sales
and dry during the time
of such
then may the skies open
we need the rain.

I kinda know how you feel Maureen..
We're having one the July Holiday weekend,
and already the garage is packed floor to rafters with treasures that at one time I thought I could never do without.
But, I started collected things..and memories again..
and now it's time to let someone else enjoy my treasures.
Good luck on the sale.
Hugs, Nancy

Quite Enjoyable! I especially liked bcause I myself have been cleaning out the past..in more way than one, and I am having a yard sale mentally, spiritually, and physically this weekend. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks..I am packed with one load waiting for tomorrow to deliver another..I  am not having mine here because I have only gardens surrounding my house and no room right now while working on  my roof...so off to my brothers today to set it up ...only it's to rain for the next 5 days on and off...

off to buy a tent for now (beginning to wonder if I will  spend more money than I will make
