lyceum valley
lady desert yawning her stride
from foothill to mountain
advertising her parchment
to nonchalant sky

whirlwind foulard
with dust for color
beige on her brown offering
and whispering blond of sun
sunsetting subtle with highlight

like laughter in water
her fingers dip to lips
the saliva of dawn to moisten
when she is unquenchable
begging for a mouth of rain

and the perspiration of storms

a delicate balance of whimsy & surprise, wall-to-wall summer confection with lethal slams that awaken the senses....

like laughter in water
her fingers dip to lips
the saliva of dawn to moisten
when she is unquenchable
begging for a mouth of rain

and the perspiration of storms

brilliant!!!!!

DS

How I love anything that is "like laughter in water"!
