The Barmaid and the Mermaid
(A fun play with words)

From padded cell
The maid did tell,
“I caught an awesome catch!!!”

She tried to sell
Her fishy tale
Of love gone wry, detached…

The barmaid caught a fish or man?

The man took sail
And lost his tail,
But no one saw the match.
