Keeper ... Keeper

~*Marge Tindal*~

Guardian Hawk totem in survey of
those that he so dearly loves
Circle ... circle
touching down
keeper ... keeper

in Spiritual surround~

I feel his presence
then I see
circle ... circle
touching down
keeper ... keeper

in Spiritual surround~

~He circled me ... then lit in the oak to watch~
I spoke to him and asked him to wait until I went in and got the camera
~He did~
**It is as though he truly knows when to come**
~To keep the watch when he's needed most~

A keeper, for sure. I wish that I saw wildlife as often as you did. Your photos are always beautiful, Marge--as is your poetry!

Dear Marge:  A wonderful photo and such a moving poem!  I loved it!  I had to smile when I read it as I am writing a poem right now about Totem Poles!

Such a beauty, the bird. Always watchful, always filled majesty. This summer I have had a lot of babies learning to fly, such a joy to watch. I had to stop the car and take a wide sweep as not to hit the babies in the street.
Also this winter I had a wild rabbit in the yard. I speak to him/her everyday. The bunny is still staying in the yard and has grown used to me walking around talking to him/her.
The other day I was mowing and he/she would not move. I kept saying you have to move so she moved a little out of my way. When I finished the one yard she stretched out and watch me mow the rest of the yard.Such a baby.
Loved the picture and the poem. The animal kingdom is a wise one that we as humans should take note.

Gorgeous pic and wicked poem. Wow, I can't believe the bird sat still long enough for you to get that shot. Do you dabble in photography as well?

Thanks for the reply to my first post too

Mucho love and huggles.

To feel his presence even before the eyes can catch up and focus... how appropriate... how special. *S*

And how wonderful that he cooperated and waited... this is lovely! *S*

Your words bless...and I bless you for them. I can't express how much I needed to run across this poem, at this moment.

You're a marvel, Marge.

......even when some things I watch, I had hoped never to see....but it's my task, and the only thing real that I can do sometimes. There are joys too, and sometimes they counterbalance. I watch for them too, in a different way.

My friend, this certainly is a keeper for my special book. You have such a way with the animals and flowers and the birds whisper magic in your ears.

Love and hugs, Marti

Under the feathers of that bird, beats a symbol of great magnificence...I'm glad it appears to you for you know!
