flickering shadows
darken blue
pool reflections,
sing a deep-water
woman song

etch caverns
neath bone
and the drip
of day's distant
call to arms

she listens
her melodies
canted, conceived
on the whispering
winds of night

~ Klassy Lassy

(Song of Nicolette, a lovely poet from So. Africa)

That draws a really nice autograph of the woman you are.  I thought it was beautiful and deserves a standing ovation.

Jody, what a sweet thing to say!  I need to add a post script to this poem.  It was written as a tribute to Nicolette, a poet friend who touches me deeply.  I am delighted you like it.   Klassy

Will Rhyme,  I think he must listen, too, to the pebbles dropped within her depths of spirit.  Thank you.  ~ Klassy

I listen to my heart...and...to the beat that it finds... and... it seems to beat in rhythm to your words.

Oh, Klassy Lassy, these enigmatic depths of secret hues sing soul mysteries so softly that I am almost wondering whether I am hearing them or whether it is just a very beautiful dream.

I am very proud that Nicolette comes from the same country as I do.  Does she post on Pip?
