I spin within
the cochlea of you

     can you hear me?
     can you hear me?

a never ending circle
points along infinity
within
without

     I hear you shout
     I hear you shout

but cannot reach
beyond the space I'm in

for I am already within
reverberating
spinning
within

the cochlea of you

     can you hear me?

Another good one!

I love your portrayal here of one spinning within the inner ear of another.... To me this seems so very representative of thoughts, words, emotions, poetry, etc. etc.

I enjoyed reading.

So, you are into ears now?  Watch out for
wax balls....perhaps I should rethink that.

I adore the quiet inner thought provoking vibe I get from this piece. I especially liked the repeated lines. You are a true master Midnitesun and I'm glad I can learn from your poetry.

Knowing full well of inner ear problems,
I enjoyed this look at how I could perceive
the most troublesome times...
and remember to take it in stride.

Thanks, Kacy!

Indeed It Did "hits me in the solar plexus".

I Thought of You Today,
And What We Could've Had
For A Brief Moment I Had You
And Still, I Somehow Knew
I'd Have To Let Go

fascinating and smooth as silk!  One of my favorites!

("Shhhh...If I'm very, very quiet, just maybe she won't hear the vibrations of my footsteps as I grab this for my library and run with it!  Oh heck, I knew she had great sensory perception.  Caught again!"
