dimensions

Silver clusters…gleaming sprits
skip atop barbed cobalt peaks
of the Atlantic tide,
standing placid
welding haze
running out to sea
like an endless gauzy fabric
glistening
tranquillity,
veiled by a touch of mystery
like a
sneering mistress of clandestine
seamen

we live in that flicker
of the
undetectable sunken cheeks of time
where a wilderness
stirs fat
inconclusive
experience…
into thoughts of soul,
where notions
drive deep shadows
through cracks where
the universe
murmurs
compassionate thoughts
wearing reflective sun glasses
affording quick glances
of unconcerned wisdom
fringed with
the white crawling surf of the sea
bouncing back
where rocky cliffs
of earth delve
into the ribs
of everything…
knotting together
short and long ends of life
rhythmically
swinging
between
in
merciless folly

it is there
in that in between,
that I am
a thousand miles farther
for a moment
standing in
the wane of desire…
making a vain attempt
a very narrow ravine
of purpose which
shapes free air
and miracles
that come alive
from
the dust of bent over
horizons
lighting up everything
screeching
without
a
sound
other
then an image,
movement answers
singleness of purpose
the very essence of dreams
the epic
of one’s existence~
making it legitimate

So very well said, LeeJ.  Excellent writing as usual!
