Between the Lines

Catcher of My Dreams (Inspired)

I feel those vibrations of friendship
understanding the depth of truth
and the presentation of you,
when eyes fall upon me
and that slight smile stretches into
a longing.

I am lacking the foreverness of dreams
at the moment, when distance surrenders
to the night and the shadows
keep me company instead.
Underneath and in between
my day rises to the thoughts of you
and ends the same, my door always open
(well not quite) but would be if only...

I need the catcher of my dreams
to steal the moments,
to sling the arrows, to touch my heart
and borrow its beat
to know...to feel...to understand
its inspiration.

It's always on the tip of my tongue,
the words never to be forgotten,
waiting to be heard, waiting
for the shadows to become alive
and reach out and rekindle
what rests in the mind...
those stolen moments of yesterday.

M (inspired by Thomas119gold "Stealing Moments")

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

So many quiet thoughts between the lines, but those are the ones
that touched and held me close.  Your poetry is just as beautiful.....

as ever, Maur~
