in the shadows

.

There is no relief
in tasting collections of selected memories
dancing quietly
among monster shadows
cast by private golem
raised up from karmic mud
dredged from the Akashic records
of our past behaviors;
though we try to choose,
the best we seem to get
with difficulty,
is not to lie to each other,
not the same as telling truth;
then again
even now,
the truth can be bent over
so many conveniences
soft seductions
decisive neglect
with smoke
and fun house mirrors telling lies,
for us,
about imagined memories
of happiness shining
in reflections of the soul.

"the truth can be bent over
so many conveniences"

talk about profound

and the mere thought
of some voices
can cause synaptic overload

Wow !    Great write !

Still...
emet/meit   truth/death  this/that
It all has but one essence.
Where is the golem?   And who am "i" to discriminate?    ::smiles::

You ponder and your thoughts come to me as wisdom to be captured somehow for my own...thank you for that.

Ah well, what is the truth but a raddled old lady dancing in the dawn light in her undies?

The truth is...

"We can't handle the truth!" LOL.

Good write. Things to ponder here.
