Temptation resists
To tempt me some more
I’ve become too willing
No hesitation or doubt
I’ve become immune
To the feeling after
Kept myself distant
Distant from others
No longer do I feel
All that’s to come
The thrusting of a void
That could never be filled
But I still struggle
With or without temptation
Yanking my own arm
With no will to stop
Only the intention to start
So now you see why temptation resists
To tempt me some more
For I’ve become the temptress
Behind closed doors.

I Thought of You Today,
And What We Could've Had
For A Brief Moment I Had You
And Still, I Somehow Knew
I'd Have To Let Go

I'm Not Writing About A Certain Temptation, Just Temptation in General, But If I Was Was Writing About A Certain Temptation, It Would Be....One Night Stands, I Guess.
