It could be girl/woman, girl/woman, views
that seesaw a resolute stance
in the same spot watching the clock
hoping, hoping, for miracles
or it could be just and only a “me”
steadily moving towards a dead end ~
but nothing can die and so I’m alive
to the spin of destiny.

It could be the pattern of weather
playing havoc with everyday chaos
but likely the spirits in mischievous play
turning, turning, the calm and serene
into a knot of concern …
or it could be the bubble and boil
of midnight wishes and needs
maturing deep in the womb
of a woman’s intuitive feel.

There are lifetimes yet in destiny’s spin
waiting to birth true cause and outcome
to make of the “could be” a mystery no more
for the wiser and bolder and more beautiful
essential essence of men and women
waiting now to evolve
from the everyday ordinary.

But for now mystery travels along the grid
to land in the body, the wholesome body,
of emotional sensitivity ~
and this just to keep me alive
to what could and would have been love
if not for the spin, the artful spin,
of preordained destiny!

“to what could and would have been love
if not for the spin, the artful spin,
of preordained destiny!”

One of the two.  Or maybe both!
Excellent write!!  As Always.

Martie, Eric, Debo and LeeJ - thank you so much for reading.  I really do appreciate your comments. I guess we are only in charge of our own destiny up to a point - like just before the spin!
