God Has A Plan

The sun shone brightly
or maybe it was just her,
the day was beautiful
the moment to occur.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

We had my ex and his wife,
grandma and Blair,
Naomi's boyfriend and sister
and friends everywhere.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

My brother drove down,
yes Uncle John was proud,
we got there really early
so we could beat the crowd

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

What an awesome moment
when it all began,
when they called her name
I knew God had a plan.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

We got back to their house
and within all my tears
we packed up the truck
and had a few beers.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Now I know where I'm supposed to be
I'll be Georgia-bound soon as I can,
this trip had brought it all together
and now I know God has a plan.

Thank you for sharing Dixie.  My grandson graduated highschool this year, too.  I would love to put something together like this if I could.  It's lovely and so is the graduate!  Sweet remembrance for posterity.

Dixie...

She's a beautiful child...
and has her mother's smile.

He always has a plan...
and keeps her safely in His hands.

Great to read this.  I knew you had a daughter, but I didn't realize she was old enough to graduate!  I guess I was picturing her to be about thirteen.  (Have I been on Piptalk that long? Oh my!)  She is lovely and looks like she can conquer the world.
Thank you for sharing the beginning of lives.
Congratulations to mother and daughter!

Dixie,

They grow up so fast. Thank you for allowing us to join you in your daughter's graduation ceremony. These pictures are so very special and enduring and you seem to be a very proud parent here as you should be and, yes, most certainly, God has always had a special plan for you and your daughter my poet friend. (Sigh) It's such a blessing to see you two together in these pictures. God bless you.

You know I never got to my son's grad as I was ill back then and missed it, so I thank you for letting me attend your daughter's.  She is a beauty Dixie! A moment in time you can never replace in this presentation.
