                    Old Brooklyn

    From his broken apartment window he curses the children playing in the street below.

    He has grown old in Brooklyn, flying pigions on the building rooftop across from the park.

    Standing there he thinks about snowmen dancing with dead cows in broken iceboxes, and then he laughs.

I've never been to Brooklyn but you really painted a picture for me.  The neighborhood seems to have the same character as the old man.

I agree. I can picture this perfectly in my head. And the fact that you were able to accomplish this in only three lines surprised me. So keep it up!
