There comes a time
when it is realized...

There is really nothing
that can be called "mine"

Except for...
the numerous memories
that I carry and this body
that carries "me".

And these...
I leave behind.

To those
who can use them...

I leave...

Memories

They will now be... Yours.

May they serve as seed
In the world that
continues on...
Long after "i" am gone...

And to the earth...
I leave the body.

May it serve as
fertilizer.

This is all "i" have
and this "i" leave.

In this...
None leave the world
untouched by their presence.

Perhaps we bequeath our soulprints in poetry, Uriah. You write some thought provoking pieces that I've enjoyed very much.  This one, too...
