Gray Day Feeling

Hate and anger no longer
reside in this body.
Sometimes disappointment
rides on these shoulders,
probably of my own making.

Today is a "gray day feeling"
awaiting the sprinkling.
Wishing for the after-rainbow
just to put some color back into
this life.

Smiles and laughter and mis-
behaving imps are just a drive away.
These last two days needing/making
the memories to last
for the months to come.

To know "it" is to feel "it"
to appreciate "it" and to savor "it".
Two more days...
Sighing

School is almost out...

Relax.

It's time for you.

Ah, Maureen. May summer breezes blow away those gray feelings and light up your face with that pretty smile. hugging you, Chris

Sending you a rainbow...well, a rainbow smile at least

Gray days can have that feeling, although I do enjoy them sometimes. Well done.

I'm sending a rainbow, as well, M-lady.     Sounds like you really enjoy working with the little ones...the summer does go fast; before you know it you'll be seeing them again, hopefully.  (PS:  Thanks for the birthday wishes; you have one coming up soon, too, I think) ........jo

Ah Maureen...you are one dedicated teacher.
Kids up here don't get out until last day of June.
Summer will fly by..and you will have time to enjoy your beautiful home and garden!

Thanks everyone..yes this is my last (half) day until school starts again in late August and I have grown so use to working with the young children that I am already missing it...and today I am at a new school...don't even get to share it with those I know.

Nancy, yes I have lots to do and organize around here and one class to take, then it will be full time for me...a long time in the works to get myself on a "freer" path

hugs and thanks again
Maureen
