Beautiful yes, but this morning I could have shot the entire lot of them outside my window at 5:30 a.m. (crows that is!)    Hope you are feeling way better m'friend?

Every sound to a new day is wonderful to me, Sharon.....even the crow and especially the peacock!   Thanks Nancy....I keep my window open long into winter...love the sounds that sometimes scurry in the night.  Right now a peacock is chowing down on cat food right outside my bedroom door.

::smiles::    It is beautiful, the way the body of the world appears with the I am thought.
First comes the identifying with the "you", then the body and the world come into being.    ::smiles::    ALL is glorious.

To be a bird....fly high and see dawn before it arrives....I'd like that.

Haiku-like, Martie. Saying much with few words = best poetry.

Hope all is well with you.

The few words
lends itself well
to vast imagery, Sissie.

Well done!

Oh Martie! I love the sounds of crows (and others) in the morning.

We have a peacock in our family. Her name is Mary and she's 18 months old. She looks like a little girl but when she gets excited... she sounds just like a peacock! She has also tried cat food but it's not her favorite.

Lovely, Martie.  If only the beauty of "just before dawn" could last the whole day! I often wonder why the good is so transitory.

Noisy crows in hummingbird mornings around my neighborhood...   Martie, you do have such an artistic flair in your poems. I could seen those crows lined up on the telephone wires awaiting the sun.

Ya' know I always loved to keep my window open too. But this Arizona heat... Nicely done.

Just before dawn is one of my favourite times.  And you are one of my favourite poets. Now put that together then don't wonder why I enjoyed your poem so much!

packed with lots to imagery to think about.  (Incidently, did you know you have a twin out there?  If I didn't know this was your picture, I might have mistaken it for my own!  Iliana noticed the similarity, too, in one of your former pictures, but this one takes the cake for similarity.  How 'bout that?  I knew we had a connection somehow or other.  Hm... I thought it was just in spirit.  Now I wonder if we are distantly related!  I do have cousins out in Ca.!)

Enjoyed the complexity of your writing, although it came off with the greatest ease.
