Dancing in the rain

0 posted 2006-06-10 06:28 PM

I see you in dreams
the silver of my calm
the orange flowers spill
over dark vines
over the wall of time

while the ocean waves
shift and fold

reminding me; I am but an island
lonely without you

If you ask me
what I came to do in this world
I the artist will answer
I am here to live out loud

Welcome Raindancer, now your island is surrounded by a sea of blue pages where anything is possible. :-)

Powerful albeit short....islands must get so lonely out there by themselves....I don't think I could be one for long. (Though some days I wouldn't mind it!) Welcome to Passions!

Raindancer, personaly I favor short verse that strikes a cord. Splendid piece. Write on! Your in the grove with that one.

Dance in the rain often;
your footprints
leave wonderful poetry.

Welcome to Passions!

a new face, a fresh smile and a new dance to learn, rather like singing in the rain, or just being poetic

welcome from me as well
