Our love laid bonding with natures love birds.
My head lies upon your lap of sensual security.
Your hand stroked hairs, as breezes lifted stress away.
Clouds meandering in hide and seek sunshine peace.
Tree leaf gliding flight, rustling swarms of bees.
Fruit blossom cups of deserted sweet tranquility.

Reading a novel of interactive social philosophy,
Your spell gravitates down with feminine warmth.
Covering me in soft magic sense of a precious spell,
Love of the Most High gracing two sensual soul mates.
Glancing up to see you smile, yet reading on, I knew
We were on the same wavelength of eternal friendship.

My sketchpad was there to catch the therapeutic winds,
Upon the verse to make love to you standing still, as
Nature surrounds her harmony in our combined song.
Years of trust has brought out the trust, as chipmunks
Scurried away peanuts, bread finding wings, humming words
Darting onto pages of contemplative medicinal thoughts.

The plaque has aged it initials, weathering over storms,
For bark needs no man’s mark, claiming their heritage.
Things have grown, things have died, stones unchanged.
Generations have come and gone, so have our children.
Yet a routine continues unabated in those glancing looks
That says love in every possible way of combinations.

“Honey you are the sweetest headrest of all time.”
“Shut up Henry, do your poetry”, she said smiling.
“I am just getting to the good part”, blinking her eye.
“Just make sure you keep little Susie on your lap.”
He glanced down to see his sweet granddaughter poet.

Picking up a pad, he wrote the verse she would cherish
For a lifetime of having loving parents and grandparents,
With her own initialed plaque claiming her own special spot
Among all the natural chimes ringing in natures love.
