from the sandfull hands
a blackberry of stones
with the memory of a sea

I lay on my back there
waiting for the gulls to come
and look for food in my eyes

would my breathing disturb them
if they thought I was alive
or not care just the same

if I pretend this desert is an ocean
and this war was but a wind
and that I will return again

to a california sunday morning

you already have
this was like a smooth fit communicating sets consistent with high spirits with a full moon tune like joy in the early morning, before anyone else stirs...in other wards....you rock and never loose a thing!!!

To bask in the sun of a California Sunday morning, would most assuredly give one a sunnier perspective on life!

Beautifully penned, Dark One!

I always learn something reading you...hugssss you...good to see you back...

And so it those we live with
and should know who elude us
But we can still love them
we can love completely
without complete understanding

So poignant, my friend!

...food for thoughtless gulls, who ride the ever changing wind?...the tides relentless against the visions we cherish, with not even an imprint left in the sand, nor a tear unclaimed by the ocean... stark daark

You do leave imprints on my mind
