Beauty, I compare all to a flower;
Asking “do you know it is beautiful”
then I ask about what eyes do miss--
”do you find the bud just as beautiful”
still the beauty of the flower remains within,
I believe we are all flowers and buds;
beautiful from the inside out.

I hear that you do not think so?
And each tear has fallen to a comment--
shallow are them who cannot see
who think of nothing
mind filled with sexual thoughts.

Stand with me upon the edge of a mountain,
did you see the beauty?
Was it seen on our slow walk upwards--
or is it looking together out over the world
I believe it was both, beauty is everywhere.

You believe you are tied to the past,
Be boundless, lay within the water--
let all memories flow
through and around you,
Become the water and the memories--
flow as one with your past
don’t be the rock stopping the path.

I am what you want me to be,
Let me be apart of your memories;
I shall be the bottled up water in the heart--
swimming from day to day inside you
always telling you to believe in your self,
And one day you will see without me--
and be able to stand upon that
mountain with someone else,
Giving them the same advice I gave you;
and something more your own wisdom.

'become the water' ... I REALLY like this thought~

Something like raising children - hold and then let go.  Enjoyed the read, RedStoneEB!

If only everyone could look at each other in this way what a wonderful world it would be.  Great message and poetry as usual.
