Listening to every heart

Correlations

When we connect
‘twas my suspect
though seam of dream
cuts quick to clean
though shadows remain
‘tis then some dissect
that inward keen
and reflect

ahh,

it is then
…we smile.

Auroras ripple
pinpoints stipple
this inward voice
calls quick choice
silent words
is silence speaking
all while poets
come a’tweaking

and

it is quiet
…this smile.

Shivers ember
a moment’s tender
in this reflection
our connection
is silvered mirror
to see thus, clearer
and then, this hope
a lifeline’s rope

tender this
…our smile.

Embers fused
we refused
to let it go
thus, we know
yellows come red
blues come green
then the mixes
in between

life is thus
…a smile.

Let your fires
burn

And truly....there are only correlations....they're everything. Some good, some not so, some appalling....wanted or not it's correlations within correlatons, within correlations....electrons, protons, neutrons....quarks.....

Kairlea,

Well, I could certainly relate to...

quote:
poets come a’tweaking

...and having this phrase now stuck in my mind, I do think that you've done some mighty fine tweaking here. I have enjoyed reading your poetry again.

God bless.
