You know I’ll walk the beach with you
anytime, right?

It’s been a few years
and I never grow tired of the stories
or the gossip that we inspire.

Let them think what they will
We are good together
In the way we are together

They’ll never understand.

But to me these years have been
So much fuller
Having someone to turn to
Someone that can talk when I need to be
Silent

So put on your wings and fly
I await your decent into my world,
into myself and all over you.

Let them make what they will
of that.

Well, no one's ever accused me of not having something to say.  Guess that makes me perfect for the task, huh?

Ditto Myrtle, anytime, anywhere...

Some say friend
Some say fiend

Some say lover without guts

Ridiculed by fiends or friends or both

I relate to your words

But nowadays every friend seems to be just someone waiting for a pay check to a tabloid

Nice words

Now, Susan, I think you looked inside mine and
Gary's heads on this one!! People have gossipped
and made up stories about us the whole time we
have gone together....December will be 9 years!!! LOL
So, I don't reckon we let the gossip bother us too
much. ahahahahaha!!

Loved this, Lady.
Hugs,
Ethel

I read your words again Susan

You write so powerfully and so deeply that I certainly confess to not giving your words due respect at times and doing the shallow cursory stuff

You are, as I have often felt, quality in your words and should be published

there is always truth in your words....

And so it those we live with
and should know who elude us
But we can still love them
we can love completely
without complete understanding
