Thoughts At Sunset

Sitting alone I watch
as the sun O' so slowly
slips away...
And then I
thought of you,
smiled for
knowing somewhere
you too were watching
the  sun set.

When my boyfriend was in Viet Nam years ago, I was walking down our family's long lane (really long) watching the sunset, and I swear to you, Froggy, I had the very same thought....that we were really not so far away because we were looking at the same sun, sunset for me (only his was probably sunrise).  Good one.

For many reasons, dear Froggy,
I was happy to find this one
and re-read it today, before sunset.
