Hummingbird

Here, the ruby throat finds favor in a columbine of mine
Sensitive to the minute of moment, the change of breeze
In tune with the world and the flower, a sight to seize
Coneflower and rose draw attention in dispose
Not unlike my own free will, never still
And yet,
Here, in morning light it happened, a limb of dogwood satin
They sat, a pair together, appeared to be considering forever
Spellbound were my eyes the tranquil scene’s endeavor
A shady spot to chat a lot, as I overheard
The quiet strength so fragile
About the Hummingbird

This is wonderful. I could sit and watch those cute little flutter wings flutter all day. And, if or when I ever get my house, I plane to plant me some columbines, as well as other flowers that will attract those cute little birds.

Quite fascinating, aren't they?  Your moments
amongst the fauna are treasures.
