The light above dims, as if its hidden behind a dark cloud.
A quarter sits without its shine.
My leg no longer provides comfort to the inanimate objects that cover this table.
The glass panes, dust covered and bare my fingerprints of shame.
The floor now bears the burden of the contents, as my leg kicks out, splashing coffee against the floor.
Anger causes paper to fly about the room.
Torn from pages of forevermore.
The wooden table still sits dull, the wood tarnished with age.
