When she walked past me with her quick steps
So lost in her thoughts, I doubt she ever noticed
That the end of her skirt brushed me ever so tenderly
And from depths unknown came a sudden breath of Spring
Bringing with it memories of my far-away, distant home.
As I sat down on the sidewalk, waiting for her to reappear
Emotions swaying between hope and despair
Strange thoughts swirled and rose in my mind
Filling me with dreams of a better day, of wounds healed, of rekindled desires.

Thank you, thank you.

*bows*.

I prefer being called 'Deep' though...
