Your constructive comments are gifts to me.

Dead Ends?

One special day, with its long afternoon,
I trod a "mazing way."Mid foggy haze
The pathway ended quickly with dark gray's
Ensuing shadows, playing a sad tune.
Surrounding this dead end, I saw graves strewn,
And Death stood with his scythe!His glaring gaze
Of ire pierced my soul midst this dead end maze;
And Death thought I bound by his venom's rune!

I stalked Death in his scathing eyes and said,
"Souls you've slain at this dead end's last milestone
And shrouded each on a Procrustean bed!"

"Death, your dead end conclusions I disown;
A pathway I declare from you instead!"
I snatched his scythe and cut through the unknown!

Dear WindWalker,

Thanks for your comments. It is sad when people live with all conclusions.  Life itself is an open narrative but some think it is a dead end.  BJ
