I don't know why,
I feel the way I do,
I can't help it,
Every night, I dream of you.

But it can't replace,
Feeling you next to me,
It can't replace,
Breathing the air you breathe.

I don't know why,
I want to look into your eyes,
And whisper words of love,
Under starlit skies.

But loving you,
Just feels so right,
Loving you,
Puts me to sleep at night.

And if I could feel your heart beating,
If I could listen to you breathing,
I know I'd be alright,
If only for tonight.

I don't know why,
I feel the way I do,
but it feels so right,
Just loving you.
