Writing on old battles and then you find they haven't changed.

Dave

Is it your belief
That the world fails to find you
Raise you
As decreed

Silence

it

always matters

For everyone we need

Standing at the shadows
Friends you dont talk to

They have all gone and shattered
As you are coming through

Did I decorate your throne

Or did I exist

Did I feature on your hits

Or allowed to delist

I am still in there with passion

I am still in there in need

Even though I'm shattered
Fighting from

beneath my knees

But

It's something I'll remember
From my knees down to my bone

I always wanted honesty

Now where am I to go

Now where am I to go

Dave,

I feel the longing in this...the need to reach out and grab what is right there...
and yet too far away to do so.

You write heartache well...In fact you
just write well period!

Take care.

Now you've reminded me
of a Dogen saying:

If you can't find truth where you are,
where do you expect to find it?

Just substitute honesty for truth in that line.

We stumble over it daily, sometimes not recognizing it.
Who cares? Well, I do...for one.

it goes without saying, this was terrifically bittersweet

the ending was, indeed longing...
and all anyone ever wants...
I can never understand why and what people can be thinking when they do what they do...the hurt is overbearing, and certainly not what another deserves...

Amy

If I wrote well, I would be rich

Maybe it is a gradient scale

Thanks for your words, they are appreciated

Honesty, sweet honesty
Carried to my grave as an early age

Oaths and Prayers from those
Who were truthful

Going back to a previous comment

and it sounds really nasty

Does honesty start at the point of marriage, or joining, or does it start at the moment of a parent's training
