No Root

There is no root or absolute
Nor can I find a substitute
Though the argosy is not done
I still can’t pass the number one

I’ve learned to simplify the load
But even though, can’t break the code
I wonder in a circles bend
And still I cannot find the end

Perhaps beginnings are the root
And we like flowers are the fruit
Perhaps each ending of its dwell
Is the water in the well?

I hear the piper of the flute
And see the dancers in pursuit
My heart stays with the drummers beat
And cannot stop my dancing feet

So off I dance into the blue
And wait my turn the final coup

You blossomed beautifully and you dance gracefully.   Bloom on.   Dance on.   Dance in the wind.   Until you stumble over the root and fall into the well.   Then... Drink deep.  blah blah blah   LOL     I loved this, Sir Sy.  Thank you      ::bows::

Dear Seymour,

Your style of writing I analyze. In each line you dance to eight beats. (Most of the time) Eight is the number of new beginnings.  Your heart doth give you away as you sway to that new order that is near but unseen!  Dance on with its music for you are in tune.
