In Sadness Cry

30 May 2006

Summer days and
winter nights
Empty days
and holding you tights

These moments to ponder
more fulfilled in heart
This nature of expression
those to each their own in arts

Where numbness was neither borne
for inside her prism would escape to freedom
One day to feel alive and know she was there
for no doubt this was ahead in momentum to come

Some are days, others are nights
next to her in ways of a southern sky
For there was the shadow, passing to the east
and she would never again in sadness cry

“Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the
sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.”
Ecclesiastes 7: 3 KJV
