Just Words

Had a wonderful day
thinking of you
and all of the things
we use to do.

I timed it just right
hoping to hear
a deepened voice
in whisper near.

But it was fine,
I enjoyed the day
with thoughts of then
and yester play.

Common place,
it has become
to dream of when
till I succumb

To end my nights
alone in thought,
wondering still
what words have wrought.

They may be just words, but they are put together very sweetly.  Enjoyed this.

Dave, I appreciate the time you take to respond to my words, thank you.

SEA, I am going through some more changes in life...this time for the better although  I won't be working during the next few months and will be studying instead. So I am a bit off now, meaning I am trying to adjust once again

Michele, I am getting better at not comparing my past to the present or even the future...although there are some lapses.
Thank you hugs

Tommy, sometimes I don't even remember what I wrote or where it came from...but I am always glad to know someone enjoyed the words. Thank you.

Jo, thank you ... even if the words seem lonely they are just momentary feelings~~

hugs
M
