He knew the waiting, almost over;
had seen the blooming rose
upon the slate of un-cut clover
Spring's un-dying lust.

To be a friend, to flower, or
rock, or advocate of  dust;
to see how latent grows the garden
despite the un-just mower

that

stood

there by the wilted rose;

he knew the waiting, almost over.

If I'm wrong I apologise but is sounds like a bunch of students

and if the place was any good

they're have lived in it

themselves

A keeper of moments where
life is garnered, and gleaned,
perhaps worshipped...
before the evil cut
of death...

that...

is what I see.

Well done, Sir!

Ah, despite my  "cloudy" pen, you "have seen" with clear, bright eyes!

Thank You Mam,

Ahh,  our friend ... The Reaper...might he
be thereabouts, close to the wilted rose?

Acute observation my friend, Indeed you are right, for, since the beginning of poetry and well, time itself,  that sneaky rascal reaper seems to hang out among the thorny roses.

Thanks for the comments.

You are quite welcome; it seems to me
that in time, and trust, one sees
these things clearly...

but only with age,
and not all aspire to see
with this clarity.

I commend you for a pen
that is not fogged at all...
but with bright, brilliant eyes.

Ah,

Sunshine, with the bright eyes!

You see more, and farther,  than most.

Time needs neither explanation, nor, one single second to reconsider things.

As you know, it.... takes care of it's-self.

waiting long enough, well, the dust collects!!!

Temporal beings, such as you and I, now, that's another story.

Thank you bright Lady of the Sun, your commments most welcome anytime.

Will
