if we get past these invisible strings

maybe we could have a visible fling

becoming indivisible we could joyously cling

          to each other's hearts

like we did  in the start

               of our movie

         when you moved me

                   to sing

like contestants on American Idol

      for years, i was too idle

to ever consider taking a chance on making my bridal

          component a reality

               but any rival

              emotions i felt

at securing happiness began to melt

once i experienced the totality

           of your sweetness
