Have you felt them?
Condensed moments in time, when the warm air is all inviting, yet tentative; it's breeze so laden with the past notes of the ice cream trucks' tinny solicitation, and the birds' song of summer passing, that I am suddenly paralyzed with fear; for this moment too must pass, more quickly then the last, and I may never retrieve such contented melodies again.

You captured the moment beautifully. The moments pass, but the scent remains impressed and can make us live again the emotions felt long ago.
