~A senryu is a Japanese form of poetry consisting of three lines with 17 syllables in total; The most common format is 5-7-5 syllable lines. Senryus celebrate human behaviour OR tend to be cynical or darkly humourous~



Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world!

These forms of poetry can certainly give one great satisfaction to read...and write.  Not only are there so few words, that when done well, like these, offer great insight!
