Sorrow

Sorrow flies without remorse
Never seems to plan a course
It lands on all that are to live
With ne’er a word of please forgive

It’s a feature seems a creature
Often poses as a teacher
Comes and goes a will o the wisp
But its touch is hot and crisp

Sorrow touches many a time
In age and in your early prime
It stays within our future flow
It hovers o’er each place we go

It is within our weave of gown
It’s in the frown of every clown
It is the movement of the dance
The very nuance of advance

Just look within the mirrors eye
And tell me if you see a sigh?

Ah, yes, they are there.
And they echo . . .

Most definitely Sir Sy....when I look...
The old "S" word certainly can find a
perch to sit on, can't it?

"Just look within the mirrors eye
And tell me if you see a sigh?"

Yes, I looked and saw the sigh, but with each sigh a lesson learned.

You are my favorite for your words remind me of a place I've been or one I soon will be.

Sy, only you could pen sorrow so eloquently   I think all will relate and find meaning in your words...sighs

S Arthur Grey,
Yes they do echo.

Barry,
Sometimes you think it will never leave your shoulder.

Enjoyed your reply, thank you.

Honeybee,
Was that sigh the one in the mirror. LOL

Fat or thin
Healthy or slim
In the good
Or in the wold

We never look good

But often

Doesn't happen often (as you well know),
but your thoughts leave me 'almost' speechless~

I ponder the wander of your ink~
Thank you, my friend~

I did indeed see that sigh, and have felt it so many times.  I like to think sorrow is the greatest teacher of them all, and sometimes it actually is.

Excellent sonnet Sir Sy.

Dear "See More,"

Thanks for the reminder.  Sorrow may lead to hopelessness or to hope. It all depends upon the rudder of one's will.

sorrow is a word that makes you feel....

And so it those we live with
and should know who elude us
But we can still love them
we can love completely
without complete understanding

I really enjoyed this section, but the whole thing is great, really has some emotion behind it.
