I wait long hours playing lovers games
Yet when love comes I abstain, I abstain
So is my love in one English circle
I the ever-lonely lovelorn worker
Shall survive the isle where some men go
A secluded land where I live alone
To never hear, feel, see and never sleep
With loves or lovers in my bed with me
So shall be my life so low consisting
A blue that nears the solid dark of black
I so do feel such a mood persisting
That wishes fill my old dry nation sack
So lack of loves in days do break me down
So too is why I love that bluesy sound
