Tolerance for a short time

I've stood on this corner
Breeze and wind to man

A little gentle for the girls
They smile and understand

Always courting couples
Oh there they go again
Wrestling time on Big Street
More moisture than the rain

I always wanted the sea side
Get a little air
My brother likes to spin
But he is just hot air

Mother's very subtle
Likes to travel well
They always welcome her approach
And sometimes ring a bell

Mother meets the country
Some have called it hell
Look at them trying
It makes you cringe to tell

I've seen more puff from my Uncle
And he's been caught as well

Still they slow the people down
An island in their wake

All I see is the girl's legs
And for this I've got to wait

Good Evening Dave,
Your word art is truly wonderful to read.

The very last 2 lines are witty in this satirical work.  It gives one a chuckle...nice.  Thanks for sharing.  Take care.  Liz...Carpe Diem
