I see it... So familiar I feel it... So natural Is it my mind... or my heart... That is playing tricks on me? illusion? A dream? If I allow my heart to follow my mind... I know that it will become reality. If I allow my mind to follow my heart... I will completely lose myself in her. Either way... I am lost. or... found. Perhaps... I will just... watch. detached. This has become my way. Let the embers remain cold. Regardless of how the angel stirs the ashes. If it burst into flame... The heat is not for me. Except in sweet imagination. ah ! Yes! It would serve me well to remember... How prone I am to long, quiet, secret moments of lunacy. Okay, I'm better now. Everything is under control. |
