The Glen

Just living life as oft I tried
to leave my mark, but just skimmed by
I happened on a solace place
where in the glen, ‘twas seen—a trace—
a trace of something once I knew
could lift me up, could help me through
but in my fears, within I cried,
‘twas gone alas—‘twas Love denied.
Denied by me! How could I face
the remnants lost, the sheer disgrace
of knowing Love without reply
beheld in glen ‘twixt You and I.

Oh it is so very good to read you this wet and rainy day Bob.  I will let Sandgrain know you have posted she was very worried about you as was I.

How happy I was reading Sharon's message that you've posted again.  I admire your work and really felt your absence. I pray all is well with you.

This one's great, too. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome back, Lighthouse Bob. Loved your words of lost love, sadly, yet beautifully, written.

Thank you everyone for your missing, for your concerns, and for your expressions of Love here on so many different levels... As the poem was meant here to imply.... Such Love should not e'er be denied.... and I could not, No! No! No! Not I.... for I could not surface without reply!!!

Big Smiles, Love, and Thanks Again,

(big angel hugs) Oh Bob, I'm sooooooooo happy to be reading your wonderful words again, dearest friend, this one made me cry as I have had an experience of unreturned love and I desire ever so strongly to feel the feeling of loving somebody more than anyone and being loved that way in return! (sigh) God Bless you, dearest friend, yay for your comeback, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bob, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Thank you Noah.

It's very comforting to return to such wonderful loving arms and embrace of yourself and the other poet friends and family here at Passions. Thank you once again, dear dear friend, and God bless you,

-Bob
