with you

At the edge
mixed with sand and foam
I watch time
wash away
dissolve
and with it
my resolve

I can’t be angry
not here
with the swirling at my feet
the tug and pull
sways me....in memories
bittersweet

my heart clouds over
mimicking the sky
it won’t rain
and I.....
I have nothing left to cry

I’m sure you have your reasons
understanding them, simply isn’t something
I’m meant to do
but understand,
I have my reasons why
I’ll never be able
to give up
this love I have for you.

~SEA~

‘I want to swim away
but don’t know how
sometimes it feels
just like I’m falling
in the ocean’

The immenseness and the solitude always engulfs me for the sea is so much bigger, deeper, wider, and so much more all encompassing than we and time itself does indeed seem to stand still and in awe of its presence. Again, I enjoyed reading your poetry.

I have found that pain had a way of shaking loose my resolve...
Seems better to release, and forgive and both go on...James

these words you've left here on this blue screen flow as beautifully
as the ebb and flow of the waves,
as they caress the awaiting shores,
bringing sad memories,
but sometimes new opportunities
to embrace the essence of love

(big angel hugs) Oh Susan, this is such a sad, reflective write, dearest friend, I sure hope all is well with you as these feelings are ones so many can relate to and sure wash up on the beaches in the hearts of many! (sigh) Bless you, dearest friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

you are so lovely....and this is just stunning.... have missed reading you

And so it those we live with
and should know who elude us
But we can still love them
we can love completely
without complete understanding

Wow, that's a lovely poem.  Also relates to the way I've been feeling the last week, so now you have me thinking about where I'm going with myself.  I gotta go read more of your poems.
