Rain-bowed sounds surround searching souls,
filling the sky with parallel bands of harmony,
dressed up in nature’s magnificent finery,
red, orange, and yellow cascading alongside
green, indigo, blue violet,

as a bending light beam screams past my eyes,
encircles itself inside
opens corridors of my ears, that I may hear
the pure unadulterated sounds of love’s light

reflecting, refracting, enveloping me
within the sounds of glorious color harmony.

Rain-bowed sounds fill the awakening sky,
layering parallel bands of harmony,
like splayed fingertips of humanity
revealing that Life
is a Maestro’s primary orchestrated song,
played out in the keys of a One reality.

Life itself, is the prime opus,
a celebration of unity in diversity,
and the rainbow is the main refrain.

Margherita, glad that you enjoyed this tune.
Dave? glad you listened and saw the rainbow, though I'm still thinking about that reply.

Absolutely gorgeous, Kacy! I obviously have a soft spot for rainbows and this is one of the best rainbow poems I have ever read. Am keeping this one.

The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears.

If you lived to the north, I would have said
it might have been the northern lights....
But a rainbow will do quite fine with me.

I like the *colorful* imagery.
And, the alliteration of the opening line.
