THE INFLUENCE OF LEONARD COHEN

since you left:

I’ve committed half a suicide
I’ve tortured an ocean
I’ve perfected my limp

I’ve said two prayers:
I prayed that you’d come back to me
I prayed that you wouldn’t

already,
one of my prayers has been answered

My husband claims Leonard Cohen contributed to my depressions before I became happy...I only know it was good to listen to someone who understood.  I still love his music!
