                                Left, left, left, right, left
                                      Never in step was she for
                                         Out of the box and line she thought;
                                        Ideas beyond the norm she sought
                                  Cluttered in left brain tasks
                             Creativity had been masked.

Then one day her mind turned right
      Everything new she saw in sight
           Flowers with stems of blue and green
                Petals of lilacs floored in dream;
                    Clouds danced upon the ground
                             Variegations of cloud-go-rounds.

                                                Everything left just right.

Thanks, Dixie.  It's taken me a long time to realize that I am very right brain dominant, and that if I don't feed my right brain urges, my left brain sometimes will go on strike! (Like tonight!  I have about ten hours of work ahead of me, but I couldn't push another step until my creativity could peek out!  Now I feel relaxed enuf to hit the paper trail!)

Perfect blending I think!
May we never neglect creativity ... it's a matter of health and wellbeing, no doubt!

Thank you for this beauty, I can relate!

Love and hugs.

I do so love reading your poetry. You are uniquely and creatively expressive.

Your righting, I mean "writing" , of this poem, perfectly illustrates that the right side of your brain is alive and well!

Cute ending!

Hugs with love,

My tumor was on my right brain side...I was so afraid the surgery would mess with my creativity...but I think it's ok...still healing, but ok.  Wonderful poem!

  Thank you, thank you, friends!  I finally got Part 1 of my paper trail finished about 5 minutes ago!  Have much, much more to do, but will get back to you when I can.  Until then...

Martie, it is good to hear you are recovering.  Hang in there.  From what poems I am able to read, it sounds like your right brain is doing well, as well as your left.  Healing thoughts continued to come your way...

iliana,

   So glad you dropped by.  Changes, changes... What can I say?  I see myself changing from day to day and minute to second.  It sure is a whirlwind out there!  Wink.  Be well.

late arrival,

    It is GOOD to see GG and ALL of you!  I have been so cramped for time until tonight/this morning when I thought I would burst if I didn't write something.  When I went to post it, I was pleasantly surprised to see your name on my thread.  Thank you for taking time to respond.  I keep telling myself that there is almost light at the end of the tunnel, and that I will be able to catch up on my reading here.  See you soon.
